Reel Seafood promotes from within for head chef; new menu launched

Lee DuPont, who was the sous chef at Reel Seafood Co. in Colonie for the past two years, recently was promoted to executive chef. This week he introduces his first menus, for fall and winter.

The dinner menu‘s new items include, for small plates, coconut shrimp and smoked salmon with asparagus and greens; classic wedge salad; and, for entrées, jerk swordfish, diver scallops, brown sugar-miso-glazed Chilean sea bass, sesame tuna and almond-crusted grouper.

Among the new items on the lunch menu: shrimp po boy wrap, a grouper-based Reuben sandwich, smoked salmon wrap, chicken taco bowl and shrimp noodle bowl.

Reel Seafood Co., at 195 Wolf Road, is open for lunch and dinner weekdays, Saturday dinner and Sunday brunch and dinner. Call 518-458-2068.
